The Reason for this is because MASS SPAM Link Requests and email SPAM from people like the person you are wanting to block here... were all over the system and annoying the fuck out of the
Real/More Experienced Traders.
Spammers and Noobs Rarely pay for Anything and so
FREE Stuff has become synonymous
SPAMMERS and Noobs. They use free domain hosts, free hosting, free email, free EVERYTHING because they lack Money, Vision or Both.
The main spill over was coming from thumblogger (a very large free domain host). Complaints were so bad we finally just banned them. Traffic at TBN went down about 10% and no one has said shit about it since except to say that they are glad they are gone.
Originally we never wanted to charge anything for TBN. But I came to the conclusion that we needed some type of solid deterrent from Spammers and a way to keep the noobs off the radar of the more Experienced Traders.
$12 a month is not much for something that saves you HOURS Each Day. If priced any lower... spammers would pay and Spam anyway. Even at $12 a spammer might pay so we put it to 3 months up front.
But This post is proof that annoying users will still pay and SPAM.... but as a Paid Member you can Block them from Your account.
You can still use TBN for free... but your going to be in that Pool of Free Accounts which is mostly Noobs that don't have much to trade with anyway. If you/they make it in the BIZ.... you can join the rest of us in the Paid Members Pool where the Bitches are at
