I would try adecco, they are used by large corporations here in Phoenix to hire on temp workers. I know where my wife works, they use this company and some of the temps get hired on full time after they have shown their work performance.

As far as homes and areas...what do you mean by be careful of the areas you look in? Anything in particular to lookout for?
