However it's inaccurate.
When you're doing anything wrong nowadays you often get charged with a slew of things. It's not uncommon to see people with 20 or 30 charges. They tack on anything they can possibly think of to charge you with. That all adds up to these wacky statistics. Sometimes I wonder if there's a job specifically for finding all the things that could apply or what.
I'm guessing the murder stat wouldn't be affected, unless they've figured out a way to levy multiple murder charges for a single death. Unlikely, but you never know.

It would stand to reason though, as they claim that's every 7 hours versus minute and seconds for the others. Also I bet car crashes are "vehicular homicides" or "accidental homicides" or something.
