If she had a kid at 18 she would be a slut, and coz she is 43 she is too old? You say her and her husband both work, they live a nice life so too will the baby. She isn't too old at all, and good luck to her if she is happy.
Now for the bad, no matter where she is or where she goes she will get nice comments on her grand daughter, its just gonna happen. Tell her not to be bummed out about it, just enjoy being a mom again.
