So, the car is only worth $8k and Nissan are footing the $6k repair bill again (because it happened so quickly after the first?)
In any case, get it fixed at Nissan's expense and sell it on. Or in a year or two, you'll lose the whole $8k, since it won't be economically viable to repair it.
