As some of you may know across the country today 20th Century Fox privately screened select scenes of AVATAR. A lot of the hype revolves around the new technology used to film it: HD IMAX 3D. I've seen as much 3D as the next guy and wasn't very excited about this aspect of it going in. Cameran's films however have always been great so that aspect is a definite draw for me.
After a brief introduction by the studio we were given the new 3D glasses (which look nothing like the one's we're familiar with = completely new shit). The lights went dim and it began.
Suffice to say this film is a game changer. Get used to this phrase: "Completely Immersive Experience" cause that's what it is and going forward everyone will refer back to this movie as the example of what that means. NOTE: You must see this in IMAX 3D, there is no exception.
This December we're all in for a treat!
