Saw this one last night as well, loved it.
As long as Tarantino spent working on this one I kinda expected it to be his magnum opus, so I was a touch let down. You could tell alot was cut for time. Maybe next year when the super super deluxe version is released it could be truly great, but what came out in the theatre, though good, lacked stylistic continuity. It was almost as if there were two movies shot by two different directors. Some parts felt like total Tarantino / 70's style - Let's hear it for Hugo Stiglitz- and then you have the Shoshanna Bowie, "Cat People" sequence that feels like an 80's throwback to Wings of Desire.
Just my 2 cents. There's alot of this movie that's left on the cutting room floor, like the history of "The Bear Jew" and his bat, good stuff. Even so, the movie still rocked. "This is jewish vengeance".
