I was a complete novice at tgps (and scripts) and decided to have a go at installing Smart Thumbs. Within 30 mins I had it up and running just by following the instructions carefully, step by step.
Creating a template was no problem and shouldn't be if you have some html skills. I've been happy with it from day one.
It's the only one I've used so I can't comment on others, but from someone with no experience I was surprised that I got it to work and work first time.
