A guy named Waleed busts it down. He agree with the conclusion but not the reasoning:
"Hi Stan, actually I totally disagree with your article and your theory, people spend more time on myspace and facebook because they are 'legal' porn sites (and unlike porn websites, they are socially accepted), try browsing some of the profiles on those websites (esp. myspace) and have a look on the photos in those profiles, it's basically a non official competition for showing as much of your body as the site allows without getting your profile deleted, what makes those websites even better than porn sites is that the visitors of those websites also hope they might get a chance with the owner of the profile which is not possible on porn websites (where you only 'watch' and that's all)
So, in the context of your article I could suggest you refer to those websites as 'social porn' websites ..."
