How is this playing dirty Shap? You were given two day notice to pull the cross sale which would only take one email to ccbill. You are getting paid for the signups up til this Friday. This isn't a big deal Shap. The sales just weren't profitable....no big deal. You even said our xsales to you weren't good either. I can't believe what a bitch move you made bashing us on the boards. You even owe us over 100 signups.
Shap: not really. i'm not going to talk publicly about the situation. But I do want them to email me asap. they don't know how to handle business and that pisses me off. They are going to be on the short end of the stick on this one.
We did email and give you 48hrs to pull the xsale. The email was polite and professional, NOT PUBLIC LIKE THIS THREAD! We ARE on the short end of the stick, since I am obviously not going to get the 100 signups that are owed. I have a feeling that this is some WWE faux-drama for the sake of drumming up new business.
Shap:I'm posting to get a reply. That's all. in situations like this, where the company isn't replying and pulling some bs coward moves, going to GFY is the only thing to get a response from them.
We were all out at dinner last night, someone called me about this...I didn't get home til midnite so I am sorry if it took too long to respond. My life doesn't revolve around a message board.
In closing I want to first say that I respect Shap and think of him as one of the most intelligent webmasters I have ever met. A huge part of me thinks he is playing all of you like harps on this one with this fake drama, but I'll play along. When my sales guy wanted to do business with Twistys, I knew that it might not have worked out. Their sites are very vanilla and ours are more of the fetish blend. So it is understandable that with xsales and exit traffic we might not gel together, but it was worth a try. We tried it out for a few months, we sent them more sales than us (I wasn't going to call you out, but you forced me to. You are behind over 100 sales) I will admit that closing the account was not handled properly. With all the fraud and loses we have taken this year, the owner is a little trigger happy when it comes to closing accounts and "Carsed Marketing Inc" was not associated with the company, Twistys in our minds. I would have personally gotten involved with this deal instead of the standard email that was sent. And once again, Twistys is getting paid, that was never an issue. I hope this clears up everything.

Hi George. Any company we do business with we consider to be our business partners. We treat them with respect the way we would our employees or our customers. We don't care if it's a $10 business relationship or a $100,000 one. We value them all and treat them all with respect. If we have a problem with someone we contact them and discuss the situation. We don't fire off terminated emails. This isn't the first time this happened with one of our accounts. I find it hard to believe you guys fire off TERMINATED emails without any research on accounts that have been active for more than 9 months.
I have to say it's a really bad way to handle business.
