Most of the people I know who have used prostitutes have absolutely 0 skill with women.
If you're somewhat good looking and have any sort of balls, you can get attractive women to do nearly anything you want. I guarantee there are guys out there who have the hottest porn girls falling over themselves to do anything the attention of men who wouldn't spend a dime on them, while the rest of you don't even get looked at without money being flashed.
