DNA tests inconclusive
“I saw a second creature alive,” worker Francisco Garcia (36) said. “It was a male, about 70cm high.
“I saw how it crept out from a ranch door and then quickly ran away.”
The first creature caused shockwaves when details of its find were released – a bizarre thing dubbed an ‘alien baby’ and believed by many to be extra-terrestrial.
All tests to establish its DNA have so far failed.
‘BILD am Sonntag’ reporter Michael Remke travelled to Metepec in Mexico to see the creature for himself.
“The eye sockets were eerie,” he said. “I was a little but disgusted…”
Vet Marco Salazar examined the ‘alien’ shortly after its death, when a farmer drowned it out of fear.
He said: “I have seen all kinds of animals, but never a creature like this.
“It had the teeth of a carnivore, and its large head suggested very high intelligence.”
The body had characteristics of a reptile – for example its teeth – but also of humans, like its joints and inner ear.
And the second creature has not yet been captured.
Is it still hiding out in the area or has it travelled to Mexico City, 65 km away?
For many, it is a noticeable coincidence that a virus epidemic broke out there later – a disease which united swine, bird and human flu – as if it, like the creature, came from an extra-terrestrial gene lab…
