i agree that there is no need to buy (or rent) DVDs as the internet can provide more product for the same, or less, money
but similarily, there is no need to pay for it on the internet either, except for very defined niches - and even then only if you need 'this weeks release'
today.
but I shall change my opinion ('cause, as you say, I haven't seen the whole letter) to...
