I did that when I was first in the USA...
In England, we say 20 Superkings, or 20 Marlboro or whatever... So I walk into a gas station and say err.. 20.... (Look up, and dont recognize the brands) so I say... errr Fags please.
The guy gos 'FAGS!' WTF... I counter with 'Sorry, no I mean Cigarettes'
