The leaders in our industry and others apply that saying continually. Think of TGPs. Would they be hurting as bad as they are if they applied that? Absolutely not. You can complain about what's wrong with the industry. But at the end of the day be sure to look at your business and remember to INNOVATE OR DIE!!!
the problem is that there are no innovative webmasters here, most copy other people stuff and call it innovation.

adapt or die is only valid statement for these webmasters.
