It was stupid for people to object to Bush sr and junior, stupid for people to object to reagan doing it, stupid for people to object to every president addressing kids. It should be done annually.
That doesnt make it open season on saying any thing you feel like in objection. If anything, it illustrates that people ARE just saying anything they feel like because other people got away with it before.
