it's called freedom of speech... so many people in this thread trying to tread on their rights.
also, what if texas took over the top part of mexico? then the southwest US will border the country of texas. that is where we will make up our loss of federal dollars, by taxing goods passing through the country of texas to the US.
just thinking out loud. I mean, Texas can purchase part of Mexico and it would not be any of the US's business.
