Making the move from shared to beyond, but not quite ready to pay for dedicated yet...need to make da money first!
Have seen a lot of good things said about the likes of Webair, NationalNet, AmeriNOC (phatservers), and Techiemedia among others - I guess I just would like to know who's got the best VPS deals going on now or who would be willing to have the best...would appreciate any of those aforementioned hosts to reply.
I am someone that would certainly upgrade to dedi and if things go well enough, it may not be that far into the future.
I would ideally like it to have at least a few dedicated IPs (diff class C's would be a bonus) and higher bw the better but honestly something nice and well-rounded and good for the price. Disk space is probably the least necessary thing to have a lot of with it. Not sure what other details to add - my server knowledge is limited at best though I did once had an unmanaged one I had to deal with and lived, lol. Having said that, with the server I have w/ my partner I've come to find that support has been needed numerous times and it's definitely nice to have good support, so don't want to be chintzed on support. I'll be doing WP MU w/ bunches of blogs domain-mapped plus likely move a few of the other sites I have on shared. Everything I currently plan to host is mainstream (all my adult stuff atm is whitelabel stuff that I'm not hosting) but would like ability to host adult just in case.
If you're spamming a particular host or deal, say what's so good about them. "We're the best" or "they're the best" tells me jack shit. K spam away - will probably check back in tonight.
