When you cut out meat in your diet, your metabolism speeds up. Most people do not realize how much work your body has to do just to digest meat. I really don't exercise much, but when I cut out meat I eat more vegetables, and more often. Your food digests so much faster when it is not flesh. I noticed the difference right away, and as soon as I eat meat I immediately notice my metabolism slows down.
