Have you ever been to a Waffle House in Georgia? That's about the bottom of the barrel when it comes to genetics. haha.
I think a lot of it has to do with social situations - namely that wealthy attractive people tend to marry other attractive people, and good genes get passed down that way. The more expensive areas I've lived in have had more attractive people.
Then again when I was a kid my parents had a weekend house in this hell-hole on a huge lake in a town called (and this is no bullshit) Gun Barrel City. I don't even have to tell you the lack of talent there.
