Screw the new driver...
If you want to break 100 learn to chip and putt...that's where you will make up the most strokes. You only use a driver 14 - 15 times a round (less if you're smart!) but the game of golf is set up for 36 putts. And if your driving sucks you likely chip a lot. Learn to be more accurate in short distances (under a PW < 100 yards) and watch your stroke count melt below the coveted 100 mark
