Well for what it's worth, they could have tried this sort of thing with different people at different location hundreds of times before this and this just happened to be the one time they got some idiots to give illegal advice. But yea, this org just seems all sorts of fucked up and chances are while not EVERYONE involved with it is like this, if a lot were like this it wouldn't surprise me whatsoever.
