I know the value of Owned.com and the market better than most - have you talked to dozens of qualified people in the industry with similar demographics and the niche? I'm going to assume that No, no you haven't. I'm not saying there wasn't a peak time to sell if I wanted to sell purely for the value of the domain name - but it's not dying.
I'm not going to explain why I haven't done more with it, mostly because all of the Pieces Of Shit will come together and start posting - I'll write down the names of who I could expect to post in here and see if I end up being right.

There is truth intertwined that you always include (which seemingly makes your post more valid and reasonable), but it's the other stuff that's just bullshit crap which shows me you need to find more hobbies that you enjoy so you stop being bored and so the asshole parts don't come out so much - you've clearly been bored over these years - it can happen when you make enough money where you don't have to work anymore, not sure you're there but you act like you are.
