Having a PC tour fit on a phone and having a mobile optimized sites are two completely different things. One needs to make sure the entire site is mobile ready.
When a PC tour is made to fit into mobile, all the text is really small, the join pages are not easy to navigate or fill in.
If you are looking to promote mobile, make sure to use a program that has mobile sites, with a mobile tour, mobile join page, etc.
