Some of the reactions in here are just straight up fucked up and make me almost wish they get stuck with gay children latter in life, yet can not make me wish that as it would also harm a kid.
The kid either was experimenting because he is starting to get some hormones flowing or there is the chance that he has a preference for guys. Since you said they were talking about girls and wanted to see what it felt like, I would not even start to think he is gay yet.
Yes I am of the camp that think people are born a given way. I also think since he has interest in girls, this was just a curiosity thing.
