Well lets break that down for a second shall we.....
Female model: 500-700
Male: 150-250
Pro makeup: 250+
Location: 250++
Misc cost: 200 (fedex, tapes, gas, lunch etc etc)
Gear: 100-200 (you have to figure in replacement costs as well)
Total: 1500-1600
And this is before you have even paid your staff....
Now ok that is for a top of the line production, but well most expect that now a days
Can be done cheaper but i doubt under 1250 for a great hardcore production.

I feel you in that situation. Also as a past shooter and having to deal with equipment all of the time in different situations. Ageing your equipment is something you just have to do. It is not like equipment costs are not tax deductable, and major equipment can be depreciated.
Unless I did not read it right, sounded like the person was getting the models and location.

While I do that I will toss back a question.
Say the above was used plus the shooters fee's and the client paid 2k or whatever for the scene. The client just wanted 1 scene, standard fuck scene. Someone else asks can you also get a POV bj sceen for me when your done with that scene, how much do you charge then?
Add on, how should the buyer feel if he paid everything above for a scene and then the shooter adds on 3-4 other scenes for their own sites or whatever, how would you feel?
I checked and yes they were going to pay talent directly and pay for the location.
