Haha, some of your replies are hilarious while not being too hard on me, thanks.
On a serious note. I had talked to him and told him that we were not upset that it was with a boy, but that we were a bit upset because he is too young to be involved in this type of sexual activity whether it is with a boy or a girl. I told him not to be embarrased while at the same time don't go telling everybody either.
His mother on the other hand had mentioned not letting him hang out with the boy anymore. I said that is crazy. For one... like others have stated in this thread already, no need to make a big deal out of it. And two... well, if they are in love they will find a way to be with each other regardless, haha.
The shitter that I hadn't mentioned previously, is that his maternal grandmother never liked me. She is pissed off at her daughter for letting him live with me the past few years. The grandmother thinks that since the mother has a younger daughter with a man whom she ended up getting married to, they are abandoning him and pushing him out of their happy little family. Understandable.
However, when granny ended up hearing about this, she had no idea that it happened at her daughters home, while in her daughters care. In an attempt to have my son removed from my home, and sent back with his mother, she proceeds to call Child Services and reports that he had been molested by somebody, perhaps a cousin that was staying with me before this all happened. Now I have CYS up my ass. This made the whole thing even more embarrasing for my son, not to mention making it look like a much bigger deal than it was. They even transported us to their office and talked to him in front of a 2-way mirror and 3 video cameras. Of course none of this really mattered as we all knew what really happened. And still the other boy and his family have no idea any of this has even gone on. They live in anothr county, so it would be too much work for them. And again, no need really.
I am sure had granny knew the facts at the beginning, she would have kept her mouth shut, but maybe not, as this is how she has been ever since I met her. A straight up psychotic bitch.
But all in all it has been ok so far, but would have been much better if it had been left with our father/son chat.
He seems to be ok about things, but he lost a lot of respect for granny.
