I wouldn't say they are losing money but its not a cash cow for sales as much as it is for traffic. Ive made more off selling traffic than I have sponsor sales but $100 for the tube script, $9 for the domain, $10/mo for hosting, I have already made a profit 2x and thats only 3 weeks running. Went from 3.8M in alexa down to 1.3M and will continue getting better. And I dont have to host any of the content and bandwidth is low.
Ad sales will be next so Im not overly worried.
