If you want to talk about non country music I talk quite a bit to this guy that was sort of involved in Stone Temple pilots, and some Velvet revolver group that signed one of my good friends to his label.. but again Im sure since you lived in L.A. at some point and sat in on some sessions you know all about it. Ill be glad to pass your advice along. Yes a lot of them use macs, but pro tools is for both mac and pc these days. I also do a lot of recording out of my studio here for other songwriters, but now I am worried if they know my computer isn't a mac they will stop wanting me to record their demo cds.... I better run out and buy a mac and get a lifetime pass to starbucks...... People care about the final product. The last 2 starwars movie soundtracks were done on GASP a PC using Steinberg Nuendo. Which is what I used for years. I just recently switched to Propellerhead Reason Record as I was on the beta testing team and I am unlikely to use anything else for a long time. And I use it on a GASP pc. lol
BAH mac sheep bah....

You arent a professional recording engineer though, you sit at home and think you are, big difference. I am only speaking from my own experience as an intern of some top producers. I interned under marc Bingham at Boiler Room Studios (he did REM albums)
Wasnt trying to compare cock sizes just stating the facts about the studios I have spent a lot of time in and have friends who engineer there.
Blah blah blah, as I said,
go to LA and try to get an engineer job at a studio and tell them you do not know mac and have no experience with them and are actually "anti mac" LOL see how much they laugh at you... LOL
the only thing matters is yellow...
