Well, enough said. I just reviewed a site that hasn't had an update since last April. Sheesh.

I then reviewed another site that had 1 update per month for a solo girl site. I think with sites like those, weekly or even 2x weekly will be good enough to inspire a higher retention rate.

Tube sites like TUBE E - I _ G - H - T 8 has multiple updates per day, yes some of them "user contributed" but they do update!

I've had access to many sites in my past, but none compare to the update frequency of tubes. When I go to a porn site, I'm not looking for yesterday's porn. That being said, I don't need to have daily updates either. Give me one or two solid videos to look forward to every week, and I'll keep paying.

This was just a little rant because what some sites get away with is comparable to murder. On top of that some of them enjoy banging the fuck out of their customer's credit cards too. Business yes... but that's no excuse for a low retention rate.
