Depends how much you earn per sales (which product) ... I have spent the past 5 years in the "traffic" trenches... have seen way higher CTRs then 0.7 (I remember some 3-4% ads) and some guys converting under 1:500 ... of course they were not with the higher CTR ads... but overall and everything, it's possible... to answer to all asking why we sell ads spots instead of putting our own reflinks... it's too much work to monetize such high volumes of traffic, the best and most profitable solution is to enable everybody to bid and monetize the best he can and the best marketer will end up with the most amount of traffic and competition will emerge...etc
