When we were doing studios we ran our streams through camcorders, then through specialized software, and then the webcam software. It created a slight delay or lag but it did allow for more video effects like logos, scrolling messages, and much more.

Yep no foolin. Go make a big banner and hang it across the ENTIRE background. Just plaster it with your url so nothing else shows. It's about the ONLY way anymore. Just like all the media outlets on tv demand these days.
Or take a piece of glass and use soap or something to make a semi-transparent "watermark" diagonally across the ENTIRE screen.. and shoot the vid through it.. Hey, somethings got to give.
