In the sports world if you deny using steroids nobody believes you and you are blackballed and assumed to be guilty.

It's interesting. It's like webmasters prefer to be naive and never be told the easter bunny doesn't exist. I'm pretty sure that is because as long as a company denies doing something wrong the webmasters feel good about doing business with that company and don't feel they are guilty by association.
