Well I don't and wouldn't market to Chinese because their government blocks tons of porn sites and update filtering list constantly. Porn is illegal in there. So even if I make a good paysite in Chinese, it will be blocked sooner or later..
And I heard the government ordered lots of banks to set auto decline transactions via adult cc processors(ccbill, epoch...).
So they're just buying pirated porn DVDs due to the circumstance.
Anyway, I think 170Y for a site is affordable for middle classes. China has 1 billion of middle class consumers.($12k ~ 73k/year)
Other East-north Asian traffic is ok and has more purchasing power. (Japan, S.Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan). they've no problem in paying a quality pornsite for $39.99/month, willing to buy adult toys, lingeries, pills, live chat and dating as well.
