Very stupid. Not my kid, not my family so on a personal level I do not really give a shit. Straight out telling her no you will not get her one would be one thing (even though I do not agree with it). Trying to fake it and making her think you really did give her one was even more fucking stupid. Not only putting her at chance of getting the flu, but perhaps if she did get sick and the doctors asked about it and mom said yup she got it. Then they now have the wrong fucking information to work off of.
Then do keep in mind schools will not be shutting down when h1n1 shows up this time, and yes by all definitions it is a pandemic.
