Exactly. More likely than not the director is holding the camera. Its the same in the mainstream movie world. The producer produces. (puts it all together)

fact is a producer has a team, if he/she doesnt have a team working together he cannot make good content. the producer brings together the different talent, lighting, camera, make up, money/financing, sex performers etc. rarely does a producer hold the camera.
