my experience with HP online support today

just wanted to post some kudos for HP and their online support system

I had an issue with a 3 year old HP laptop I have and went to their site and saw an option for "live online support chat" so I clicked on it, skeptical of course, and then someone named "Bhatnagar" came onto the chat, so I assumed that it was likely an overseas support staff....

... I was pleasantly surprised at the knowledge and intelligent support I received, the tech worked with me in running through some troubleshooting and had quick access to links to relevant sections in service manuals that matched my desire for more expert level information. Overall a very good experience so I though I'd mention it publicly here as it should be recognized when big companies do a good job with stuff like this.

I've got a couple of HP's now, been happy with them.... will be looking to get another HP laptop when the new Windows 7 machines come out soon.
