The US economy will plummet and we will become a third world country.
Unfortunately the only keeping us afloat is the dollars tie to oil. Sort of like the new gold standard. Once the dollar came off gold -- inflation kicked into overdrive. Without the tie to oil, the US dollar will be an epic fail.
Well this should make the anti-immigration people happy. US workers may be going to Mexico to find a job now.
It wont happen for another 9 yrs. Perhaps the US economy will be in a complete state of recovery or we will be a completely "green" country and will have shaken our dependence on the middle east oil reserves. Otherwise, that is an ominous future looming.
