The whole point is when a domain is listed for sale it's only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. That's clearly too hard for you to understand though.
BTW, custom tailor shops make a lot of money. The ones in upscale parts of big cities make half a mil+ a year (but OMG there is no adwords and what about conversions?

A.) This guy is just a fucking idiot and wants to give someone $10,000 for no good reason at all.
or
B.) $10,000 is a drop in the bucket for a long term investment for a brandable domain name that's likely already a thriving business for him offline.
or
C.) This is a Chinese scammer with a fake check that picked the owner of youtailor.com to scam.
