Got my first glock at 17, had carry permit at 21, carried for years before I moved to TN, and about to get my permit for down here now.
So moral is. I was taught about guns early on. The correct way to handle them etc. A baby unknowingly putting a fake plastic light little toy gun in its mouth is not a huge concern. Maybe in bad taste, but unlikely to cause any issues. lol

Why would you switch topics, I quoted toys - you come back with bb guns which are real guns, just like a .22
I had BB guns as a kid, had my first 12 gauge by the time I was 10. Both me and you were talking about toys though, hell read what you wrote and what I quoted. It was fucking squirt guns.
This is why having a debate with you is akin to running head first into a brick wall. Everyone could be talking about Vietnam and you will then say I like spaghetti.
Now you talk about you were taught early on, blah blah. Yes the baby does not know better, however the walking vagina holding it sure in the fuck does. Would you react the same if it was say just a pop top bottle of aspirin in the babies hands, perhaps a realistic but still fake knife? Baby could easily pick up a real one of those next time.
Then again maybe you are of the type that would also be fine with a baby putting everything in their mouth without the occasional shouting know, or slap on the hand when it goes for a certain house plant or a piece of dog shit.
