The next time you're in Los Angeles, you really should check out this newer Coliseum - it's much better maintained, and it's of Olympic proportions:
The cool thing is that they stage contests there between Trojans versus Lions (Penn St) and even Bears (Cal). I once even saw a contest involving a bunch of Fighting Irishmen (the weird thing is that they came from some French named school, Notre Dame, they must have been orphans - go figure).
I doubt that the run down place where you were at could hold such a contest anymore...but, don't say anything to the locals there though, because you don't want to come across as a rich stuck-up American.
Well, give my best to the Pope when you see him. Be sure to ask him if you can wear his hat and take a picture.
