Deer Lodge, Ojai. Unexpected treat. Just came around the last turn and it was the first thing we saw. Not sure it is a "biker joint" any more than Neptune's Net is. Just a great destination on a Sunday ride [now that I know it is there].

This is what was at either end of it.
Truth be told, I never took this ride before and had no idea of what to expect. Never gave it much though to be honest. I had told my son to be prepared for some cold weather mainly because I did not know how late we would be out.
Turned out there was at least 40 or 50 miles of non-stop turns. Maybe more. It was really too advanced for my son, especially since he had gone down once on the Snake in Malibu. The signs kept saying 15 more miles, then you go 15 and 500' later, 6 more miles, then 9, and well you get the idea.
He was ready for it to be over. I felt sorry for him that he had to drive another 100 to get home. We may have to do a winery ride next week.
