Try ask a lawyer, I don't think Pimpmansion is qualified to say anything about how legit your E-mail list is and therefor they are not qualified to advise you on what you can do with it or not.
You probably also wanna make sure you label your mails according to the CAN-SPAM act or whatever it is called
