I still think it's hilarious that there's a penalty for TAUNTING. Soon there's be a penalty for cursing and mad dogging too.
With all the rules to protect the QB, there's almost no point to running the football. Even if the defense knows each play will be a passing play and blitz each time, there's a reasonable chance someone will get a penalty against the QB. The fact that there's so many good QBs today is perfect reason NOT to coddle them...they can handle themselves perfectly fine without all these lush comfy rules to protect them.
