Yeah, I wasn't really ragging on you for there already being something out, believe me, I'm the last person to do that. I write custom code for everything I create, and if that means reinventing the wheel 300 times, than oh well.
Point being, Gallery systems aren't really in high priority, and even so, GalleryDaemon and Arylia are pretty prominent products in that market already, so it's hard to move into a dominated area unless you got something they can't do that people want badly.
