The result is they tend to follow what I have done in the past.
They
go to the site and see if they can find the clip, or better quality. So it actually tends to bother them to the point where they go in search of it. Or, will even e-mail you asking about the clip asking where to get it in better quality.
When I have come across scenes like that (bad compression, audio, etc) I will go to the site if the url is listed. I will do that typically even when I find a clip on a tube site. I will see if they have a clip store, or pay site, and check to see where I can buy the scene.
Which is another reason people should always always watermark.
