I had the same situation before 15 years ago. Looking back on all the effort I put in the relationship when being apart: let her do her thing and if she's really serious with you she'll come back to you. It'll cost you probably too much energy and you will be double hurt if she meets other people. And those chances are big of course.

I managed to keep up the relationship by then, but when she came back we broke up.
