I know subliminal advertising is used all the time. I'm not naive enough to think it isn't, but this is pretty far fetched.

I agree. But Alex has admitted himself that he uses subliminal messages. I went through the process a couple of times to figure out my blind spot. The computer affects your eyes but once you get it right you start to make out the letters.
