My Theory (acknowledging the haters: yes, "for what it's worth" = free theory = zero, I get it):
Halloween.
There. My Theory. People checked shit out, went out, it was a Saturday night AND the time change happening (spooky) PLUS the World Series (go Yanks) PLUS the end of the month all equals: Sunday morning sales.
Now, during the day: football/church/family/travel/etc. Therefore: Sunday night sales.
Of course, there's always the 'beginning of the month/gotta pay the rent/mortgage/bills" syndrome, but that's another theory.
In short: woke up to 9 sales. Sweet Treat!
