What pleasurepays does not get is that Max is getting punished under a bad ruling due to a very poor interpretation of the obscenity law.

This poor law interpretation and bad ruling has serious consequence for the adult industry down the road, if it is not over turned.

Im cool with Max getting jail time for assault and battery or even rape(if the facts support it). I really dont give a shit what happens to the guy. But i do care when Max gets his civil liberties taken away.

WHY DO I CARE?? Because if his can be taken away, so can mine.

You need to look at this case for the facts and without your personal feelings about Max Hardcore. If you can do that, you will really see what a travesty this case decision really is.
He would feel a lot differently if it was him who was hauled off to jail. In my early days of running porn stores I was handcuffed by police and hauled off to jail for some pretty vanilla VHS porn by a crusading police officer and mayor that had larger political aspirations. It's not like prosecutors and the DOJ are saying that vanilla porn is ok, and just the stuff that Max Hardcore produced was repulsive. When they get rid of the Max Hardcores of the world they will move right on down the line to whoever is next. Most of the "internet only" generation of people in porn feel shielded from law enforcement, but it only takes one time getting the cuffs slapped on to change your opinion.

Sure Max Hardcore is an idiot for flipping the FBI and the DOJ the bird, but he doesn't belong in jail for it. You can say 100 times that he should have known better and shouldn't have rocked the boat and deserved what he got, but it doesn't make it any less wrong...
